ABOUT ME

MOTION DESIGNER & VIDEO EDITOR

Yo! What it do?

My name's Austin. I grew up in Palm Beach County, FL as a quiet Korean kid who loved video games, cooking, and basketball.

I went to the University of Florida to originally study Computer Science but after one semester I quickly (and pretty harshly) learned I was not cut out for that kinda life. So, one day after nuking an exam, I made a bold move to switch into film and digital arts and the rest is history.

I've spent a good portion of my life dedicated to both culinary arts and entertainment media which taught me the value of storytelling: where timing is everything, chaos is constant, and every move counts. I thrive in that pressure-cooker environment; sharpened by more than just knives; it trained my instincts to anticipate, adapt, and execute with precision.

Throughout my creative career I've had an incredible experience helping develop stadium graphics and ad campaigns with some awesome brands like Travel + Leisure, Sports Illustrated, Toyota, USF Bulls, UF Gators, and the Orlando Magic + Portland Trailblazers! Sprinkle in some restaurant stages, a couple of private dinner hostings and menu pop-ups and you have the story of my life. (I also had a copper pot thrown at me one time and had to endure the smell of burning human flesh) hmu if you wanna hear those stories lol.

Creating taught me how to read and understand people, work under pressure, and craft experiences that resonate. Whether I'm on a set capturing a quiet human moment or shaping a story in post, I approach each project with that refined clarity: focused, present, and endlessly curious about the ingredients that make a story truly connect.

I believe great storytelling lives in the details—the flicker of emotion, the rhythm of a scene, the pause between words. That's where I thrive. As a creative, I'm hands-on, collaborative, and always listening for the heart of the story. Because behind every moment is meaning—and I live to pull that forward.
